Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Lüke, LL.M. (Chicago)

Prof. Lüke has been a lawyer at Bub Memminger & Partner since April 2022. He looks back on a long academic career as a full professor (2018 - 2022 Leipzig Law School; 1992 - 2018 founding professor of the Faculty of Law at the University of Technology at Dresden; various guest lectureships in the USA and Japan). He has always kept in touch with legal practice during this time in order to combine teaching and practical experience. From 1996 to 2009, he was a judge (part-time) at the Dresden Higher Regional Court (OLG) and a member of the senate responsible for insolvency cases. On leave as a university professor, he worked as a lawyer at Bub Gauweiler & Partner from 2009 - 2011. Prof. Lüke is co-editor of various legal journals (ZfIR, ZIP) and co-author of commentaries on the German Insolvency Code (InsO) (Kübler/Prütting/Bork) and the German Code of Civil Procedure (ZPO) (Wieczorek) as well as of numerous academic publications in the fields of civil law, insolvency law, German and international procedural law and comparative procedural law. Prof. Lüke is a member of various jurisprudential associations.
